Dunk Diaries: Russell Westbrook:
There is not much to say about the ruthless competitor that is Russell Westbrook who said it best himself: “I’m appearing in 72% of opposing coaches’ nightmares.”
Here are the dunks that best sum up the destruction Westbrook is bringing to defenses this season.
Breakaway Slam Against Blazers:
Westbrook is shoved down by a Mason Plumlee screen which gives him the eventual chance at a thunderous slam after Steven Adams steals and gets it to his MVP-caliber point guard.
All I Want For Christmas Is a Russell Jam:
Semaj Christon collects a rebound and kicks it in transition to Enes Kanter during this year’s Christmas Day match-up against the T-Wolves. Kanter then realizes there is an opportunity to see fireworks as he throws up his arms in celebration when Westbrook takes flight.
Dunkin’ Cupcakes:
Westbrook takes it to the rim and throws the hammer down past Kevin Durant. The only reason this one wasn’t a bigger deal was because Durant did not seem remotely interested in disrupting the force that is Westbrook when he has his heart set on attacking the basket. If Durant had challenged Westbrook, we would have a different story.
Russell G. Buckets And The G Stands For Gets:
After some fancy dribbling moves against Jimmy Butler, Russell Westbrook goes to the cup with authority. At least Taj Gibson knew what was good for him and remained out of the way.

Pistons’ Morris Don’t Want No Problems:
Russell Westbrook threw this down so hard that the basketball died.
In Mid-Season Form Even In The Preseason:
It didn’t matter that this was a preseason game in Spain, Russell Westbrook was going to demolish the rim at all costs and that he did.
Westbrook’s Dagger Dunk On Capela:
Does anyone know if Clint Capela is okay?
