5. Paul George will literally be able to do whatever he wants.

Something that is understated about athletes is how their fame affects their daily life. In bigger markets such as Los Angeles and New York, the media follows you almost everywhere. You have no privacy, you have no shelter. This is something that Paul George would appreciate at this stage of his career. He already has experienced the warm welcome that Oklahoma City has given. Now, he can be subject to the peacefulness of living in Oklahoma City.

Oklahoma City, while still, a city has a small town feel to it. The difference is people don’t bum-rush you when they see you in public with your family. George will be able to experience Oklahoma City without a mob following him around. You almost never hear about a mob of Oklahoman’s rushing up to Westbrook anytime he’s in public.

George will get that same treatment. He’ll be appreciated on that court all season long. He’ll get a chance to experience our growing city during his off time. Sure, Oklahoma City isn’t Los Angeles; however, Oklahoma City has a small town feel with a big city lifestyle. It’s something people here love and boast about when it comes to out-of-towners.
