OKC Thunder Best Reserve:

B+. . F. Oklahoma City Thunder. KEVIN HERVEY

Kevin Hervey was selected in the 2018 NBA Drafted by the OKC Thunder with the 57th pick. Hervey shot 75-percent from distance, on his way to 12-points off the Thunder bench. Not to mention his 4-rebounds and 3-assists.

Best Opponent:

A+. . PG. Toronto Raptors. O.G. ANUNOBY

This category was a two-man race between Potts and O.G. Anunoby. However, it seemed clear that O.G. Anunoby was the winner. Anunoby played a more compete game, and tried his best to keep the Raptors in it. O.G. played with great intensity today, like the aforementioned shoving match for example. He turned in 19-points, leading Toronto in scoring.

Final Thoughts

The Raptors put up a great fight, and that is good for both sides. The OKC Thunder thought they had the game put away two or three times before the final buzzer sounded off, but each time Toronto came back. That can be a teaching point, a growing point for young players on both sides.

As for the Thunder, P.J. Dozier stole the show, RaShawn Thomas continues to impress, and Terrance Ferguson continues to scare.

The Summer Thunder will have to wait for the completion of today’s games to see when they hit the hardwood next. With a 2-1 record they have positioned themselves well for tournament play.
