A three game week for the OKC Thunder has a forecast of sunny with a chance of Knicks… because they play the Suns twice. You get it.

This week is a bit different for the OKC Thunder. They get get the Phoenix Suns twice – once at home and once on the road. They host an Eastern Conference team in the middle of those games in the New York Knicks. Below is the specific schedule.

  • Phoenix Suns (Monday, 11/12)
  • New York Knicks (Wednesday, 11/14)
  • Phoenix Suns (Saturday, 11/17)

The Suns are bad, but they still have firepower. The Knicks are similar. The OKC Thunder have had their struggles against sub-.500 teams in the past, so they must stay on top of their game this week. It is looking like they may need to do it without star, Russell Westbrook.

Let’s dive into strong fantasy plays for the OKC Thunder this week as well as opponents.

Paul George

Whether or not Russell Westbrook is playing, Paul George will still be a strong fantasy play in all formats. He has been scoring and rebounding at a solid clip, but his steals are what has been propelling him in category leagues. The games this week put George in a favorable spot, so trot him out with every confidence.

Dennis Schroder / Raymond Felton

As a starter, Dennis Schroder has averaged around 19/5/5 with clearly increased usage. These numbers are mouth-watering in a pinch. Schroder will always be a superior fantasy play when Westbrook is questionable.

Raymond Felton is much more volatile as a fantasy option. Even with Westbrook down, he cannot be counted on for production in season-long leagues. In daily fantasy however, he may be worth it as a dart throw. You can hope for a 10 point, five assist game out of Felton for cheap.

TJ Warren

You thought I was going to say Devin Booker? Nah, fam. Too obvious.

More from Thunderous Intentions

Returning from a back issue, TJ Warren was inserted into the starting lineup last Thursday. He has responded with tremendous scoring and may be a good bet to stay hot. His play should place him ahead of Ryan Anderson. When Warren gets minutes, his production is good enough to put him on fantasy radars across all formats.

Enes Kanter

Ah, Enes Kanter. He has been the go-to big man for the Knicks since departing from the OKC Thunder squad. He will forever hold a place in the hearts of Thunder fans for his bromance with Steven Adams.

Though still a friend of the team, he is also a threat. Kanter will look to show out against his old squad and with his solid percentages, he is bound to do damage. His lack of defensive stats are bolstered by his offense, making him a consistent fantasy starter.

Hopefully, Russ will be back sooner than expected to shake up these fantasy notes. In the meantime however, these are winnable games with or without him. Good luck this week in fantasy, everyone.
