Intriguing voting:

Given the play of Doncic and his popularity in Europe his votes aren’t that surprising but several others are interesting.

For example, its odd DeMarcus Cousins is currently ranking among the top 10 frontcourt recipients given he’s yet to play a game. Anthony Davis being so far down the list is also odd as is Kyle Kuzma generating the number of votes he is.

Derrick Rose continuing to rank second (in guards) is only surprising given Karl-Anthony Towns doesn’t even make the cut. Likewise, each of Lonzo Ball, Devin Booker, and Chris Paul ranking ahead of Jamal Murray and Mike Conley makes little sense. Two of the three have missed significant time due to injury.

In the East, the oddity is Wade, although he continues to be a vital contributor for the Heat and when all is said and done should rank among the very best shooting guards to ever play the game.

Rather, the oddities are players such as Vince Carter (low stats), Gordon Hayward (low stats), Al Horford (missed games, regression) and Blake Griffin (Pistons are terrible) making the frontcourt cut. And, in the backcourt Goran Dragic (played in only 14 games) and the trio of Zach LaVine, Jeremy Lin and Bradley Beal making the cut when they all play for currently, lottery bound squads.

Help Steven Adams move up:

These votes are precisely meant to allow fanbases the opportunity to vote in their stars and favorites. That said, depending on how you view the All-Star Game it should recognize excellence both in terms of team production and individual statistics.
