Russell Westbrook

Last season was an up and down campaign for former OKC Thunder guard Russell Westbrook.

Despite having one of the worst seasons of his illustrious career, Westbrook had his share of monster statistical games that a lot of players could only dream of accomplishing.

While I’m sure Thunder fans wish Westbrook’s final season with the franchise ended with more than a first-round exit, the superstar provided fans and the city with endless memories as well as media exposure due to how popular the Thunder became when he and Durant were performing during their peaks.

Westbrook’s most memorable game last season wasn’t his best, but instead, it was a game versus the Lakers, where he dropped 20 points, 20 assists, and 21 rebounds or 20-20-20 in honor of his late friend and rapper Nipsey Hussle, who passed away a few days earlier.

Westbrook’s best game of the season came in a loss against the New Orleans Pelicans on national TV. Westbrook dropped a season-high 44 points on 18-30 in a 9 point loss on the road.

Stat line:

  • 2-14-19 at New Orleans: 44 points / 14 rebounds / 11 assists (18-30 overall, 4-12 from three)

Additional Performances:

  • 2-22-19 at Utah: 43 points / 15 rebounds / 8 assists (15-29 overall, 6-13 from three)
  • 1-10-19 at San Antonio: 24 points / 13 rebounds / 24 assists (11-22 overall, 0-4 from three)
