Bob Myers was busy at the trade deadline making moves to send out D’Angelo Russell, Alec Burks, Glenn Robinson III, Omari Spellman, and Jacob Evans. With Stephen Curry still on the shelf that equated to the Warriors top two scorers (Russell, Burks) and Robinson who registers fourth in scoring behind Eric Paschall exiting. That’s a lot of offense to dismiss.

Dig a little deeper (other than Robinson) the moves make sense. The Dubs never felt Russell was the right fit beside Klay and Steph whereas Andrew Wiggins will assume a more natural role and fit. Although Steph can take players off the bounce it’s a more logical option to put Wiggins in that role. Many are still off the Canadian but he’s endured four coaches in five seasons with the Wolves and turmoil aplenty.
