OKC Thunder possessed the most flexibility at the trade deadline and was eyeing a leap up the ladder as TI dives into week 15 of the NBA power rankings.
The NBA trade deadline hits this week as teams arrive at week 16 knowing they need to just get through a week and a half until the All-Star break healthy. That’s the goal of every club. But first, the OKC Thunder and their counterparts will play wait and see on Thursday, February 6th to find out how their rosters will change — if at all.
Week 15 witnessed the Raptors (4-0), Celtics (3-0) and Blazers (3-0) as the only unbeaten teams. Three teams also went winless with the Jazz surprisingly going 0-4 as well as Wolves and Magic who both produced 0-2 results.
The chase packs are still jockeying in each division and the Raptors are making a case to consider them in a similar light as last season as they post the exact same record through this point in the season despite all the injuries.
Likewise, the OKC Thunder continues to impress with an undrafted rookie appearing to be a good luck charm. Meanwhile, the Bucks remain the one club no one seems to be talking about but are on pace to record 70 or more wins.
